I made homemade bread today, so we're having leftover soup from last night and homemade bread with butter, cheese and fresh fruit.

Pork roast ( i will cut it in half. half for tonight, half for later on) red beans and rice, and some thing else. Don't know what yet.

Chicken veggie soup on the stove and cheesecake bars in the oven (a little holiday splurge). DH should be home in about 30 minutes.

soup, cheese sandwich
We had pasta soup, sliced apples, and provlone cheese broiled on croissants. Later we made hot cocoa while decorating the tree and listening to "The Messiah".

DBF has been working since 8am (it's 10:25pm and I'm still not expecting him home for another 45 mins - 1 hr), so I spent the afternoon/evening with my grandparents. We had homemade chicken noodle soup and rolls. Yum!!
