Anyone ever published an e-book?
I'm wondering what's involved in getting information up on-line as an e-book. Any links or information out there?

Look at the articles on fonerbooks.com. I found them helpful.

The Smart Passive Income Blog (you can google it - not my blog btw) offers a free ebook on creating an ebook. The link to it is on the right on the homepage. I read through it and it seems to be pretty comprehensive. I haven't written an ebook yet, but it's in my plans eventually.
Good luck!

Barnes and Noble and Amazon both allow you to self-publish your e books and sell then on their sites. I have no idea what's involved but there's info on their sites.
The problem with e books isn't getting them published, it's marketing. If you can't figure out how to let people know your book is for sale, you can't sell it.

Thanks SD and GreenWays. I haven't decided what to write on yet SD. I could do frugal living or homeschooling, or a number of things. I am debating breaking information down into a number of small books for less money for people, rather than a couple of big ones. Might make it easier for people to purchase and read.
I'm working through the smart passive income site right now. Lots of good information there. I gather the key is marketing.2012 Challenges

If you want to gain more readers, I suggest having a free book or mini book. I know I have found a couple awesome fiction writers. I read the first of the series for free and then couldn't wait to read the rest so went right on amazon and bough the other ones.
