Book thong
Using 8 to 12 inches of waxed jute, very narrow ribbon, or hemp, string a variety of beads about an inch in on each end.You can arrange them any way you feel is attractive. I also tie on a charm to one end.The thong then lays in the "crack" of a book to mark the place.
