Crockpot Apple Butter

Anyone ever made this without adding extra sugar? Thinking of doing this to give away for Xmas!

It has been years, but yes I have. I can't remember what apples I used. You just have to find apples that are sweet enough for your taste. Apples have sugar in them.

Healthy Homemade Apple Butter

I made this a couple of weeks ago. There was a sale on apples. I used gala apples. It turned out really good. This was my first attempt at making apple butter.

I also juiced my own apples for it too.

This recipe looks really good. Seems like something I'd like to try, but think I'd rather can the apple butter than freeze it. ((Use a water bath canner))
