    Default Apple Cranberry Pork Chops

    APPLE CRANBERRY PORK CHOPS
    • <DIV align=center>
      <DIV align=left>6 thick pork chops
      </DIV></DIV>
      <DIV align=center>
      <DIV align=left>1 small package herb stuffing
      </DIV></DIV>
      <DIV align=center>
      <DIV align=left>1 egg
      </DIV></DIV>
      <DIV align=center>
      <DIV align=left>½ cup chopped onion
      </DIV></DIV>
      <DIV align=center>
      <DIV align=left>½ cup chopped celery
      </DIV></DIV>
      <DIV align=center>
      <DIV align=left>½ cup chopped cooking apple
      </DIV></DIV>
      <DIV align=center>
      <DIV align=left>¼ cup butter, melted
      </DIV></DIV>
      <DIV align=center>
      <DIV align=left>1 can (14.5 oz.) chicken broth</DIV></DIV>

    <DIV align=center>
    <DIV align=left>Breader:

    Mix together 1 cup flour and 1 can bread crumbs.</DIV></DIV>
    <DIV align=center>
    <DIV align=left>Topping:</DIV></DIV>
    • <DIV align=center>
      <DIV align=left>¼ cup butter, melted
      </DIV></DIV>
      <DIV align=center>
      <DIV align=left>½ cup light brown sugar
      </DIV></DIV>
      <DIV align=center>
      <DIV align=left>1 cup chopped cooking apple
      </DIV></DIV>
      <DIV align=center>
      <DIV align=left>½ cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or smooth)</DIV></DIV>

    <DIV align=center>
    <DIV align=left>Coat chops with breader, cook in oiled frying pan until lightly brown.

    Mix together stuffing, egg, onion, celery, apple, melted butter, and chicken broth.

    &nbsp;Line a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with foil.

    Place dressing on foil, and top with pork chops.

    Cover and bake at 475 degrees for 20 minutes.

    Mix topping ingredients and pour over top of chops.

    Return to oven and bake for another 20 minutes.

    Yield: 6 servings

    These are wonderful we had them last night. The guys want them again next week, I may have created monsters with this recipe!
