Fried Apple Pies????

I would LOVE to make some fried apple pies. My Mom use to make the best I ever tasted. Can somebody please help me??
Should I cook the apples or fry them? thanks for your help.

I've never fried the apples.....

For a quick and easy recipe,use biscuit dough and roll out.Use apple pie canned filling.Add a small amount of apples to rolled dough and fold over and pinch closed.Use about a inch or so of oil in a skillet and fry till browned...
