Default I melted my awesome kitchen scale. :(

I had used the scale earlier in the day to weigh white chocolate by the pound, and to put 2lbs worth of milk chocolate into freezer bags.

Today I came home, turned on the oven for the pork tenderloin and about fifteen minutes after the oven had been on I noticed my scale was on top of the oven. I took it off in a panic, but the damage had already been done. The bottom has a big hole in it and the needle that shows the weight is warped. It was vintage too, came from my MIL and I still have the original box to it.

I'm so sad that now I have to get a new one.

Totally sounds like something I would do. Condolences on it's demise. I hope you find a good replacement.

That stinks, I know that feeling of despair, when you wish you could turn back the clock! I hope you find another one that you like just as well!
