Ok, who loves their coffee machine?
FH and I have a cheapo mini 4-cup coffee maker that he's owned for years and I think it's time for a replacement. Even though I've cleaned it with vinegar recently the coffee is starting to taste bad (even using some freshly-opened stuff).
I want a good quality coffee maker that we can hang on to for a long time, and ideally I'd like it to NOT be plastic inside, but stainless steel or something. I don't necessarily need any special features.

I love my Bunn for drip coffee and my Jura Capresso for espresso and cappuccino. If either of them dies on me, I'd rebuy without a second thought.

I would like to second the vote for the Bunn coffeemaker. It is simple and very fast. Mine has outlasted any other coffeemaker I have owned.

I would have to agree with the Bunn coffee maker. In 3 minutes you have the hottest, best tasting coffee. I do like my Senseo machine on the days that DH isn't home and I only need 1-2 cups.

I've got to admit that I like the plain old vanilla Mr. Coffee. However, I currently am using a Cuisinart, which I'm very happy with.

We have a Bunn as well. Gripey has used it on Saturdays and Sundays for a few years now....only lately have I been giving it a daily workout (like in the last year.....). I can't believe I lived this long without coffee......

What I hate about coffee makers is the spill over that in evidently happens when you fill the machine so with that in mind we purchased a Cuisinart with a thermal pitcher.
The coffee stays hot all day which is a plus and this one hits the water compartment instead of the counter. Christmas time would be a great time to find a great machine at a great price. Also what I like about a thermal pitcher is no more breaking the glass carafe.

Ok, I have to admit this is my biggest weakness! I love my coffee, and I am game to try all kinds. I run on to a wonderful deal from Gevalia, you get gourmet coffee, a new coffee pot and free shipping for 14.95. You join the club, they send monthly, or how ever you want to set it up for more shipments of flavors, filters or whatever and how ever you want it to come. You can stop at any time, you have no minimum to buy and can call and stop any shipment form coming. It is awesome and their products are unbelieveable!
If your a coffee lover check it out.........

Got a Hamilton Beach 12 cup brewstation and love it. Althought I saw the cadiallic of machines last week. It was in a builders personal home. Built into the cabinets in his kitchen melie (I believe was the brand) made hot water on left end, middle dispensed your hot coffee from freshly ground beans, holds a pound of beans, can regulate size of cup brewed small, regular or large and right end made cappicino.
Was all black state of the art type of thing. Only drum roll please $2,200.00
It was nice to try but ain't coming home here.

I bought my dh a Keurig coffee maker a couple of weeks ago for his B'day and he loves it..normally I would of never dreamed of paying that much for any coffee maker (it was $119.00 on sale) this man never hardly asks for anything so I jumped on the opportunity on buying this for him..granted the coffee (k-cup) is costly but my dh deserves it..

So I checked out the Bunn coffee makers and they get good reviews wherever I look at them, but I am not sure about the water tank. Apparently it holds water in the tank at all times? I read there is a "vacation" switch so you can at least cut the energy to keeping it warm all the time, but the whole thing seems a bit excessive for someone like me who drinks a cup of coffee maybe every other day.
It doesn't have to be fancy, but I really want one that's not plastic (and unfortunately most I've seen are).
