    Angry My oven died (again)!

I'm ticked. My oven died again in the middle of baking cornbread for dinner tonight. It has been acting up and took 2 hours to cook lasagna last week. I tried all my "tricks" to get it to work again, but nothing worked. The broiler part works, but that's about it. I've changed the thermostat and element before, but I've had it!!!! The ugly avocado green thing is gone tomorrow!!!! I called the appliance store and they gave me the model number of the one they have in stock so I could look it up on the internet. While the boys are at piano lessons tomorrow morning, I'm going over to get it and have DH install it that night. I bake all our bread, so this is a major disaster here. Argggg..... and we just replaced the washer and now it looks like the dryer is also going. When it rains it pours.

I'm so sorry. I hate when things break, it always seems to happen when you need it the most!

My stove and dryer are both on their last legs! Don't look forward to those purchases! My oven is also that lovely 70's gold color!

Oh Debbie, I know just how you feel. A couple of years ago within one month we had to replace the washer, hot water heater, refridgerator, all new internal stuff on the furnace and my hubbies car!! It was one BAD month for us!

Hang in there it will get better!

O, gosh, sorry hon. I know how you feel. It's so frustrating, and the prices of stoves these days! Ridiculous.
