Gas prices today, Friday 9/2?
DH heard on the news last night that even though Ohio does NOT get its gas from the Gulf Port, our prices will continue to rise. That seems like price gouging to me!
Anyways, right now it's at $3.09 here. On Monday, just four days ago, I filled up at $2.58.
How much is gas in your area?

anywhere from $2.94 to $3.29 for the cheap stuff. The DJ's on the radio station we listen to (which is about 30 miles away) one saw gas there (in VA) for $2.79.
the ones that are still under $3 for regular are still crowded at times when you drive past them.

I'm not sure what the price is at the general store, up the road, because they had taken down their gas prices sign last night. I think that means either, a. they're out of gas or b. they are just raising prices. It was $3.29 on Wednesday. According to the Atlanta newspaper, the shortage is over, since the pipelines from the Gulf of Mexico are running again.
Gas prices haven't came down, though. I bet they won't 'til after Labor Day.

I was afraid to look, but the one gas station I did see before averting my eyes
was $3.59 for the cheap stuff.
I managed to fill up (it was time, less than 1/2 tank) yesterday on the military post for $2.72/gal at 9:30am. By noon, when my friend went to fill up, it was already up to $2.89/gal

up here it was $.98 /litre last week but now its up to 1.20/litre in places.
ouch! and I had to drive across the city today.
and we are one of the heavy oil producing provinces! yow!
cost me $68 to fill my van last week.
a funny is that all or most of the gas stations don't have enough spaces for the price. so its 00.1 or whatever to say 1.001 a litre...kinda funny. oh to dream to have to pay .001 per litre
