Banana milipede for kids
I found this recipe and thought it was so cute. I copied it from the website
Creative Snack Ideas:
Banana Millepedes: Ingredients: 2 bananas, ½ cup of peanut butter, 2 raisins and 6 stick pretzels (preferably no sodium)
1. Peel and slice the 2 bananas into 10 segments. Assemble millipede by spreading each segment with peanut butter, pressing each slice together.
2. Place the raisin onto the banana with peanut butter and break pretzel sticks into legs and insert for legs and antennae.
Healthy eating is a choice and making sure that your nanny understands your desire to incorporate nutritional snack choices into your child’s diet is important. You can also suggest that your nanny become educated in dietary nutrition.
