    Default Banana nut muffins

    Have anyone here used chopped almonds for nuts in muffins? I you have did you like them enough to try them again? Thanks in advance.

    I haven't, but I consider all nuts to be interchangeable. If you like almonds and don't have any allergies, I don't see any reason you couldn't use them.

    You could also try putting some almonds in just a couple of muffins from a batch and see how you like them.

    If you're short of whatever type of nuts are called for in the recipe, you could also use seeds such as poppy seeds, whatever kind you like.

    You can also leave the nuts out entirely.

    I have had sliced almonds on top of baked goods and they were tasty. If you like almonds I see no reason why you could not use them in place of whatever nut is called for in the recipe. There are a lot of banana almond recipes out there, for example....
