Banana Pudding
Banana pudding was one of the things I was allowed to have before going to bed.
2 Large ripe bananas, sliced
2 packs of JELLO Vanilla instant pudding & pie filling
Apprx 25 to 30 Vanilla wafers
Prepare pudding according to directions for "pudding". Layer Vanilla wafers on bottom and sides of a 2 to 3 quart bowl. Add a thin layer of pudding, then a layer of banana slices. Continue alternating, ending with a final layer of pudding. Sprinkle with a small amount of nutmeg or a smooth on a layer of Cool Whip. Or add a layer of Cool Whip, then sprinkle with nutmeg. Refrigerate. Serve chilled (3-4 hours) Makes 6 to 8 servings in regular sized coffee cups.
