Use for ripe bananas - *besides* banana bread?
I have four over ripe bananas on my counter - but I'm not really in the mood for banana bread - what else do you guys do with them?

You could put them in the freezer and use them later. Or you could use them in a smoothie. Banana bars, muffins or cake.

I freeze my old bananas and make banana pancakes. I make the batter and then add in a couple of thawed smashed bananas and a little cinnamon to the batter. Banana pancakes are really good with whipped topping and syrup on top. I have even sliced a ripe banana on top of the pancakes to garnish. They are a huge hit and sooooo good

I was thinking banana muffins. You could throw them in the freezer baggied up in packages of 2 or 3 (or 4 for a big eater). They would be great "breakfast on the run" food.

You can add lowfat vanilla yogurt and make freezer pops with them
Its a very creamy textured pop and yummy.
I made some with pypia (spell?) once too.
This is from the Deceptivley Delicious Cookbook.
