    Just to have a place to keep track of it for myself!

    Today (8/2/20):

    • finished raking out all the old litter from the chicken coop, then replaced it with fresh litter
    • collected 5 eggs
    • planted 2 sugar cane starts
    • expanded kitchen garden area
    • removed old pool from garden area (hopefully to be used as an above-ground pond)
    • took a 4 mile walk

    Once you get to my age, you’ve probably had one or two loans to your name. Well, maybe more than just a few. There’s the student loans (hey there degree I never ended up using…), home loans, not to mention the long-debated ‘We really do need this new car’ loans or the emergency loans from friends or family when life seems determined to kick you while you’re down. Phew!

    By this point I’m pretty used to the process, but funnily enough I was actually rejected for my first loan way back ...

  5. Reclaiming my Mind, Body, Spiritual Wellness

    I need to make healthier living a priority and choose to be a healthier me. Here is a list of what I know needs to happen.
    - Choose wisely what I am going to eat. Make choices that are going to nourish me and help recharge my energy levels. Need to eat more real food and avoid processed foods.
    -Do some simple stretching exercises before work and focus on my posture and good body mechanics.
