"Failures don't plan to fail; they fail to plan."
    -Harvey Mackay

And as Gene Kranz, lead flight director for Mission Control, announced to the ground crew in Houston as Apollo 13 approached the critical earth-to-moon decision loop, "Failure is not an option."

That said, here's my plan for June:

    June Challenges:
June Book Club Challenge (goal 1 book per week): 0/4

"Why are we in this handbasket and where are we going?"

Well let me tell you, we really covered some ground in May. It's been a neverending journey to get and keep my finances and my act together as long as I can remember. I'm not sure if that's due to my ADHD or a general lack of skills, but it's been pretty damaging to my relationships and my self-esteem over the years. Not how I'd intended to spend this weekend at all. We should have been in Seattle having a good time, but looking on the bright side I guess we did save money this weekend by staying home

    I called ...

    Happy Friday!

I was on such a roll that night that I also made some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and I'm pretty sure the hubby thought he'd died and gone to heaven! Although he wasn't quite sure what to make of the sweet tea...that was a new experience for him.

I'm really starting to get into cooking at home instead of eating ...
