  2. No spend Challenge

    by , 02-06-2013 at 10:11 AM
I started a personal challenge not to spend on anything from now until the end of the month. It would have been the whole month, but I didn't decide until 2/4/2013. plus I spent on 2/3 on stockpile stuff.

I will buy food. But if it's not edible, I can't buy it.
I will buy prescriptions and medical care.
I will provide pet care as needed.
I will buy gas. Although I have another challenge to get my tank of gas to last as long as possible. I'm going to try to get it ...

  3. 10 day challenges

    by , 02-06-2013 at 09:58 AM
I just completed a 10 day challenge. My first challenge was to eliminate the disposable kcups. So, I purchased a set of 4 As Seen On TV Kcups $10 at Rite Aid. This replaces the disposable. Now I just add my much cheaper bagged coffee to the cup and voila. Zippy coffee.

At first, I complained about what a PITA it is to have to do this, but honestly, it really isn't a pain at all. So, if you have a Kuerig, I highly recommend replacing the disposable kcups.

    I go through ...

  4. Day Seven 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the 333 closet project

    by , 02-03-2013 at 05:15 AM
Been super busy so no blogging. But my wardrobe has kept up with me. I did the laundry for the first time and it was a cinch. One dark, one light, one white. I had hangers ready, and plenty of room to hang my newly pressed clothes so they're not getting wrinkled. Another bene of having space in your closet.

On Friday day 6, I wore

  5. Day 6 already of the 333 closet project

    by , 01-30-2013 at 07:13 PM
I picked out my ourfits for the week and when I came down to it, tomorrow's outfit was tooooo business like and I didn't think it was necessary. So, I quickly switched it out for something more casual. It was so simple to do.

Maroon sweater, maroon pants, clogs, and a purse.
It's going to be on the cooler side tomorrow but not cold enough to require silk long underwear. ...
