...to bust my eating out budget!! Can we say serious issues!!!

Here's a rundown on the eating out activity for December:

12/1: Mr Goodcents $5.03-dinner-sub sandwich, chips, drink (could have eaten at home before class)
12/2: Spangles $5.77-breakfast-breakfast bowl, large drink (this was unecessary)
12/2: Old Chicago-$27.00-dinner-Fish & Chips, 2 Captain/Pepsi's (met a friend)
12/3: Samurai-$8.46-lunch-teriyaki steak meal, drink (bad day at work-unecessary)
12/4: Cinnamon's Deli-$18.52-lunch w/boyfriend-2 soups, 1 sandwich, 2 drinks (was going to use a $12.00 groupon, but they wouldn't take it, so I had to pay full price, otherwise would not have eaten out)
12/7: PF Chang's-$10.00-lunch-Crispy Honey Chicken Lunch Bowl, water (lunch w/friend)
12/7: Old Chicago-$22.00-dinner-Fish & Chips, 1 double tall Captain/Pepsi (met a friend)
12/7: Braum's-$6.71-dinner (paid for bf dinner)-hamburger, fries, shake

Total: $103.49!

Ack! This is no good. 3 of those meals I met different friends out. I need to plan on not eating out the rest of the month....is that possible?!? I still have $65.21 left of the grocery budget, so that is good news!!

I now know where my money is going to. All that didn't seem like it added up to $100! But it did very quickly.

What to do, what to do?

Wow, that is a lot. But I know before we started cutting down on eating out, we could easily spend around $100/weekend. Sounds like you had some good meals though. I don't know what to say except maybe make lunch/dinner the night before a class so you're not rushed the next morning? I try to make a couple extra sandwiches when I make them for my husband, that way, if things get too hectic, one of us can just grab one on the way out the door. Good luck!
