Have you ever wondered why the look of fast food is always so much different in the ads than it is in reality? Itís because they hire professional food make-up artists to make the food look better than it ever could in real life. This is how the commercials and print ads fool you into thinking that those fast food burgers actually look appetizing.

Of course, there is probably one additional step in this day and age ó once the perfect photo is taken it is even touched up more with photoshop. The truth is that if the fast food joints had to show realistic photos of their food, there would be a lot less people eating the stuff. That is the power of advertising and how advertisers get people to part with their hard earned money. Consider this the next time you see something on TV that makes you hungry.
