My hubby spent some tax money on me and got me a bread machine. I just started a loaf of white bread. The machine is on the baking cycle and it smells awesome. I used bread flour like the recipe said but I read some ones comment saying that they used all-purpose flout and had not problem. If that's true it would help me out because I can only find all-purpose in the bulk sizes. I'm not too comfortable with shopping in the internet so I stick with what I can find in the stores. The only bulk foods
Yeah finally no more laundrymat and not more depending on MIL(quite frankly when she washes them they disappear for a few weeks and I start seeing my niece in them). I know I could wash them by hand but I've got a 4 month old that likes a lot of attention so this saves me a lot.
The washing machine's regualar price was $599.99(not including tax) but we got a refurbished one for $379(Including tax). We bought a drying rack also, we didn't want to buy a $400 dollar dryer and then have to pay
I know I should have done one of these earlier but I finally have the time to post.
What I learned from 2010:
-Cash only is best
-Coupons are your friend
-no debt is good debt
-Baby's are never what you expect
-Breast is really best (you don't know how much I regret not doing it)
-Epidurals do not always work (I think I'm going to have a midwife next baby, I want to go natural)
I've been signing up for freebies today. I got several ebooks, and I'm getting two actual books in the mail. My husband flipped out, thinking I took his card, when I told him I should be getting two books in the mail. I'm haven't really signed up for samples but I need set up a separate email for that one.
A made pumpkin pie for the first time today. I cheated and used the can mix and a pre-made pie shell, but I think I did good for my first ever pie making.
