Every day I do a little better.
For breakfast, I had 3/4 of an apple, 2 cups of coffee, and some steamed green beans. For lunch, a pita bread and a small jar of apple sauce. For dinner, I had soup and a second pita bread. I also drank eight cups of water today.
I got back on the treadmill this afternoon, and I made it 20 minutes before I had to stop. Hoping to get back up to 30 minutes tomorrow.
I changed from sweatpants to jeans this morning, when I got up, and later, I went out to the store and bought a few more healthy snacks (more beans and some brussels sprouts, oranges, rice milk, organic oatmeal, and the makings for hummus).
Getting ready to take my multi-vitamin now, as I try to take it right before going to bed (which means I usually forget to take it).
On the plus side, I worked out FINALLY. I avoided the urge to buy salty snacks and sushi, even though I stared lovingly at each while at the grocery store. I consciously tried to incorporate more veggies into my diet.
On the negative side, I should not have had TWO pita breads today. The soup was more than filling enough, so that second pita was more for comfort than necessity. I only made it 20 minutes on treadmill, so I slipped by 10 minutes from last week. I am hoping that is just because I'm sick and feel like crud.
No weight training or calisthenics today, and I was pretty sedentary, given that it was sunny and clear and not too cold today.
So, overall, I'm going with a B-. It would be a C+, but I'm giving myself credit for even making an effort, because I tend to totally short out when I don't feel well.
