Plugging along, really hoping for a one pound loss this week! I am worried about it, because I have to go out of town tomorrow for an overnight trip, so that will be two days of eating on the road and no exercise to speak of - always a challenge. I'm hoping to get my treadmill time in tomorrow morning before I leave.

As for today, I had oatmeal with rice milk for breakfast, a vegan hamburger and a salad (and I want credit, because the hamburger came with fries and I asked for a salad INSTEAD) for lunch (and this place has KILLER fries), and sushi for dinner. I also had a glass of chocolate soy milk (Lite).

We had visiting dignitaries at the office today, so we were all required to wear business professional attire (or as we endearingly call it, putting on the "monkey suits") and look our best. I took a little extra time with hair and make-up, and I think I looked pretty presentable by the time I was done! I need to get some new suits, because even though I can now fit back into them again, all the pants are too short! I guess they shrink, even when they are dry-cleaned. After the third suit, I just gave up and wore the pants with a pair of boots, so the hem was not quite so obviously above my ankle! Other than that, though, the suit looked good, and I could tell that I was thinner than I was the LAST time I wore a suit (early January).

I wasn't sure if I'd have the energy to work out in the evening, so I tried to do my treadmill in the morning. I got 15 minutes before the phone started ringing with work calls, so I gave up and showered and got going. When I got home, I decided to give it a try again, and I ended up doing 45 minutes on it again, so I have an HOUR overall today! Woo hoo!! Also did my sit-ups, but didn't do free weights, because I want to do that every other day.

So, good points: an hour of exercise, dressed SHARP, and drank more than my minimum of water (nine glasses today). Did I mention I skipped fries at lunch? Bad points: should have either had a smaller lunch or skipped the sushi. Both together was way too many calories.

I'm going to go with a B+ again. It would have been an A-, if I hadn't eaten that sushi. But right now, I can still feel it sitting in my stomach like a little guilty lump. Off to take my multi-vitamin and call it a day!

    Good for you! I can never workout in the evening. Way to tired by then. I find when I do it in the morning..I have more energy all day long. Have a safe trip madhen!
