Did great in some areas today and not so great in others.
First, I had a soymilk/banana smoothie for breakfast, after doing an hour on the treadmill. (Third day in a row of one hour on the treadmill!!) I also drank four glasses of water before leaving for work.
Once I got to work, things slipped a bit. I was stressed out because I was trying to get ready for a meeting, but the our office got an assignment that had to be done by the end of the day, and my supervisor was out sick and asked me to make sure it got done. So I ran around like crazy, and missed lunch, because I didn't have time to eat before the meeting. The meeting ran late, and all I managed to eat was a granola bar, although I did get another four glasses of water in. I finally got out of the office and headed for home. Had beef stew for dinner, and two cups of decaf coffee, but a few hours later, I had a craving that wouldn't go away, so I ended up eating three slices of apple danish bread that my sister left for me on her last visit (and that I wasn't smart enough to toss immediately).
I definitely overdid it at work, and by the time I got home, I was too exhausted to do any of my weights or calisthenics. So no strength training tonight.
Overall, I get kudos for the treadmill and for getting my water intake down. But I get demerits for the apple danish bread, too much coffee, not doing any other exercise, and not taking a vitamin pill. (It's down in the kitchen and I'm upstairs in my bedroom and too lazy to go get it.)
Hmm...I guess I'm going to give myself a C+ for the day. I could have done much better, if I had paid attention to my body at work. It recognized, long before my mind did, that I needed to slow down and conserve energy. And if I had eaten a real lunch, I doubt I would have had the cravings that led to sugary danish bread.
