I went to the doctor today, after WEEKS of feeling like crap, and it turns out that I have walking pneumonia!! Not only that, but the doctor, who deemed me "unlucky," says I also have a virus that is causing an inner ear imbalance (explaining the vertigo issues I've been having). So I am on antibiotics for the pneumonia, cough syrup to help me sleep, and meclizine for the vertigo. Lucky me.
Prior to finding out that I have pneumonia, I got my hour in on the treadmill. Boy, if I had only known how sick I was, I would have used that as an excuse not to exercise!
Had my eight glasses of water today, did my free weights, and took my vitamin.
Food-wise, I missed breakfast, because I had to get to the doctor for a morning appointment and ran out of time. I did have my two cups of coffee. I made up for it with sushi for lunch, because I knew by lunch that I was sick and I felt sorry for myself. I drank a lot of soymilk today, as well, as the sushi made me thirsty, and I also used soymilk to wash down aspirin, the antibiotics, and the multi-vitamin. Haven't had dinner yet, so not sure where I'll go with that. Probably just a piece of bread, as it is already 10:00 pm and I just took my Robitussin DM and expect to be falling asleep any second now.
Didn't do my sit-ups or push-ups today.
I am thinking I deserve a B+ today. I could have done better with my eating, but I did get all my water and exercise in. And that hour on the treadmill, despite being sick and feeling like crud, has got to be worth something!!
