I think I did pretty well today. I started out the day with my traditional two cups of coffee, and then decided to "cheat" and weigh myself. I weighed 150.6, so already a pound less than last week's weigh in. I am hoping, hoping, hoping to break 150 this Saturday, and to keep it under that!
Took a shower and actually tried to do something with my hair other than pulling it into a pony-tail. I'm still working from home, so I didn't change out of sweatpants and a t-shirt, but at least I changed into CLEAN sweatpants and a t-shirt!
Let's see, breakfast was a piece of carrot, eaten while making bunny/parrot breakfasts, and the afore-mentioned coffee. About 10:30am, I had a big bowl of oatmeal with rice milk. At about 2p, I had half a mini-loaf of artisan bread. I topped it off with a big salad for dinner at about 6:30pm. I will probably wash down my vitamin pill tonight with a swig of soy milk. Drank my water throughout the day, and got in my 8 glasses.
In the exercise arena, I did my free weights today, as well as my sit-ups and push-ups, and also did an hour on the treadmill.
So, all in all, a pretty good day. If I lived every day this way, I think I wouldn't be complaining about that extra weight!! However, I am giving myself minor demerits for the bread and for not going above and beyond the number of reps or weights that I am comfortable with.
Still hacking from the pneumonia, and my energy level goes up and down drastically throughout the day, but every day, it feels like I'm getting a little healthier!
Today, I am giving myself an A- as my overall grade. I get the "-" for the above-mentioned reasons, but I think, for the most part, I did very well.
