02/19/2009 - P.H.A.T. Chick Journal

I was feeling exceptionally lazy today, so I didn't have the best record, exercise-wise. But every once in a while, you need a mental health day, and today was mine.

I didn't do any programmed exercise today, but I did spend a lot of time outside, hanging up bird houses, weeding, visiting with the goats, collecting eggs, all the stuff I normally do, but this is the first day in WEEKS I've felt good enough to do it again and enjoy it! Kind of wore myself out....

Food wise, hmm, let's see. Breakfast was oatmeal, 2 cups of coffee, a handful of grapes, and a mini-carrot. Lunch was a mini-loaf of artisan bread. It was smaller than the others, so I ate the whole thing, vs. half, as it was my entire meal. Nothing until dinner, which was a green salad. I MIGHT have some tea tonight, as I'm craving a hot beverage for my throat, which still feels like I have a marble lodged in my voicebox.

Finishing up my 8 glasses of water and will take my multi-vitamin after posting this blog. That has become my little routine.

I'm giving myself a C+ today. I didn't do any exercise, but I got outside and got some Vitamin D and fresh air!! I think it was worth the sacrifice of exercise to get a little slice of fresh air and a real life back!!

    Sounds like you did great! I agree that sometimes you just need a day to relax and restore your body and mind! I'm taking today off from the gym, and I'll start back tomorrow!

    Good job with the water! I need to get better about drinking all that I need!

    Good job madhen! I would have loved to be outside doing the things that you did! The little birdies will be so happy with thier houses! Probably good to take a day to renew your body and mind! You have been through hell lately.
