rice flour $1.89
Half & Half $1.49
organic salad greens $5.99
lemon extract $4.29
orange extract $4.29
peppermint extract $4.29
vodka $26.99

Everything except the salad greens and Half & Half is for some bath/body products I'm trying to put together prior to Saturday. (Yes, that includes the vodka.)

The Half & Half is for my coffee.

The salad greens are for the buns.

Gotta ask - are you going to tell us what the vodka is for? We have a new one here - Lychee Vodka and it tastes and smells like real lychees!!

Yes, can you post the ingredients and instructions for the bath stuff you need vodka for? Sounds really interesting.

I have a couple of recipes that call for vodka, including a wound wash, a few perfumes, and an after-bath splash. I could also make a mouthwash with it, but you have to use that particular recipe immediately.

TSOO, don't think of it as wasting. Think of it as re-purposing.

The after-bath splash is just 1/8 c. vodka (at least 90 proof), 1/8 c. distilled water, and 8-10 drops of fragrance or essential oil of your choice. Put the oil in the vodka and let sit for about an hour. Slowly add water to vodka/oil mix and shake. Pour into dark bottle, protect from heat and light, and shake before use. It has a shelf life of 4-6 months.
