I've been buying in dribs and drabs, so have been posting it directly in the Grocery Reduction thread. Finally bought enough (kind of) to bother posting it in my blog:
yogurt (10 containers on sale @ .60/each, with coupon for .40 off of six) $5.60
soymilk (3 gallons on sale @ $5.98/each, with coupons for $1.25/gallon off) $14.19
cherries (10.13 lbs on sale @ $1.99/lb) $20.16
spring mix (2 containers, one on sale) $7.57
grapes (4.79 lbs @ $2.49/lb) $11.93
nectarines (3.35 lbs on sale @ $1.29/lb) $4.32
kimchee $4.49
deli meat (on sale) $3.99
organic frozen blueberries $5.49
organic frozen corn $3.99
Pirate's Booty snacks (on sale 2 for $4.00 w/coupon for $1.00 off) $3.00
Okay, the yogurt, soymilk, cherries, nectarines, kimchee, and Pirate's Booty is mine!! I am thinking about doing some sort of preserves with the cherries, if I don't eat them all first! The rest is sort of daily menu items, with the kimchee and Pirate's Booty being treats.
The spring mix is for the bunnies.
The grapes will be shared between me and the parrots. The blueberries and corn is for the parrots.
The deli meat is to hide thyroid medication in while I'm pet-sitting a pup who needs daily meds.
