Still well within budget this month! Woo hoo!!

Spent $52.22.

Soymilk (on sale/4 cartons) $11.56
Organic lemons (4 @ .79/ea) $3.16
Catfood (dry) $15.99
Apples (1 lb @ 1.75/lb) $1.73
Organic lettuce mix $4.99
Organic bunch carrots $1.39
Yellow onions (3 lb bag) $1.99
Organic wheat grass (4 ea) $7.16
Half and Half $2.49

The soymilk is for me. I'm living on the stuff now. Same with the Half and Half. Soymilk smoothies and coffee. Life is good.

The lemons are because I wanted to dry some more and have one fresh just in case. Can't wait until my lemon tree, which is FULL of green lemons, gets ripe! Price of lemons is ridiculous!

The catfood is for the cat and the chickens.

The apples, carrots, and wheatgrass are for the bunny, parrots, and finches.

The onions are because I ran out and wanted to have a small supply to dice and freeze. Found out during the great catsup experiment that I didn't have any onions and was reduced to using onion powder instead. (Happily, it worked fine.)

That is it for this trip and HOPEFULLY that is it for the month!

I am glad I am not the only one who had chickens who loved cat food.

I suspect a skunk is also sharing the bounty (by the smell), but the chickens are definitely eating the bulk of it. They will chase the cat away!
