The cheese, tuna, bread, milk, Half and Half, and popcorn is for me. The cheese and milk are for use in a recipe I picked up for savory zucchini bread. Half and Half is for my coffee. Tuna was to replace my stockpile. Popcorn was on sale, and it keeps forever, so I picked some up. The bread is to give me something to put the tuna on.

The papaya, pineapple, cranberries, carrots, and lettuce are for the bunnies.

The sunflower seeds, apples, and grapes will be shared between bunnies and parrots.

The cat food is for the stupid feral cat, who is eating me out of house and home at SIXTEEN BUCKS A BAG!!!

I wanted to buy pine nuts for the parrots, and usually fight my gag reflex at $17/lb, because the parrots love their pine nuts, but the price had gone up to $23/lb!!!! So the parrots are just going to have to wait and eat their pistachio nuts, and pine nuts will become a "special" treat.

No wonder that SFC is looking so good! She is eating so good. You are really low on your grocery budget this month...congrats!

At least you don't also have to buy cat litter.

Maybe worm the cat, that might be why it is so hungry. Where do you buy all your organic produce? I only buy organic at markdown at the big chains or whole foods. I haven't really tried fresh and easy as there is not one close.

I get most of my organic food from the Raley's. It caters to a neighborhood that is more organic-friendly, so has a pretty good selection of natural foods. I also get some of my produce from local farmers' markets, as a lot of those booths are from organic farms in the area. Organic just about never goes on sale around here, though. Too much of a demand. I get bananas once in a while, if I can catch it when they put the over-ripe ones out.

Boy, SFC must be living it up on the high life. 17$ a bag of cat food? Wowza!
