March 25th in a California Garden

It has been storming EVERY day this week, starting last Friday and still going strong today. So, once again, not much done out in the yard, except for filling in the sinkholes in the driveway created by days and days of rain and years and years of ground squirrel burrows.
My indoor veggies are doing well, and my indoor tomato plant (planted last spring and moved indoors in November 2010) thinks it must be spring, because it is once again loaded with green tomatoes!!
In order to keep the gardening spirit alive, I did order some more seeds, including corn, watermelon, chervil, watercress, hollyhocks, and Thai Dragon chilies (only the BEST chilies ever).
I did notice buds on my grapevines, so woo hoo!!! I'll have grapes this spring! And the strawberries that I transplanted a few weeks ago are going strong, as is the pomegranate tree that I was worried I waited too long to transplant.
That's it this week - just hiding inside and hoping to see some sunshine, some day!
