Busy day today - lots to do. Riley is going to daycare today (an experiment that will hopefully not go terribly wrong), Girl has a vet appointment, and I need to pick up some yarn to start a baby blanket. I also need to pick up some groceries and restock my wild bird seed!
I had only four leftovers from yesterday's "to do" list, so I get an A- for the day!! Let's see if I can continue the upward trend!

Very little happened on the ranch this week, because we were hit by several storms, and I think I had one full day of dry weather to actually do anything in between bouts of rain, hail, and wind. I guess winter is digging in its heels, and has decided to let its presence be known one last time before giving in to spring!
I have decided to devote this week's blog to the animals who share my life. I mention them, but I don't think I've ever discussed each one in any detail.
Yesterday was better, although I still had eleven things left to do by the time I went to bed. Today is Sunday, so I have the whole day to work in the house and also to go outside and clean up any storm damage. The storm ripped my storm door off, so I suspect I'll find plenty to do outside today!!

Another not so great day yesterday. But it is the weekend, and, except for taking Miss Kitty to the vet this morning, I've got all day to make things happen and a mother of a storm to keep me indoors and doing my chores!Do my morning exercises VitaminsCheck seed pots for new arrivals Check/change cat's food/water Feed dogs breakfastOutside stretch for the dogs/foraging toys Clean cat litter box Move all laundry downstairsClean Miss Kitty's crate Buy materials for poultice

Very little has been going on this week. Mostly, I have been tending to my indoor veggies, waiting for the weather to turn, so I can put them outside. I gave away some of the extras, now that I am sure the ones that germinated are growing strong and healthly.
Rain and cold weather all week, including hail, so it will be a while before I get out and start gardening for real. For now, I have to satisfy my need for dirt by reading gardening books and seed packets.
