I won a gym membership this summer, while volunteering at a charity event, so I have been going about 2-3 times per week, mostly just getting on the treadmill, but at least once a week, I head across the lobby to the weight room and brave all the 20-something young men who apparently have no jobs and yet somehow have money to spend on gym memberships.
I haven't gone for three weeks now, due to work priorities that took me out of town, so I am going to head back tomorrow. It is hard
Here it is, the beginning of the last week of the year. The days rush by, and try as I might, I canít seem to grab hold of them and slow them down!
I took the week off of work this week, but for the two weeks before that, I was out of town, so much of this week was spent getting my house back into order and getting back into my daily routine. The rest of it was spent getting ready for Christmas Eve dinner, the one day out of the year when I actually invite people into my home!
Okay, so I vanished for quite a few months, and I apologize. It was due to quite a few factors, not least of which was problems with my computer. Because I live out in the boonies, I have to use a server that limits my download time, and I found I was exceeding my limit every month, when all I really did was spend time here. Another two-week entry, and I've been crazy busy the whole time!
This period of time saw the arrival and departure of Max, a Chow/GSD mix pup, who I fostered for a week. He was adopted by a wonderful woman and her three children, but while Max was here, he and Crash just played non-stop. Crash loved it, and I think he misses Max a little, but things are starting to settle back down to normal.
