I posted a thread at the beginning of the week entitled "First Day of the Last Month of the Year," in which I stated that I wanted to start my new year right by starting my resolutions now. When the new year hits, I want to be already up and running, so I have to start now to hit my stride.

I was very excited to pay off my second-to-last credit card last week, and that leaves me with one to focus on. I intend to have it paid off by the end of 2010, which will free up about ...

  2. A week on the ranch (November 23 - November 29, 2009)

The perfect sourdough starter continues to elude me, so that challenge (set in October) will have to continue into this month. I am also going to try to cook what is a staple for most, but what I will have to admit to never trying - a pot roast!

A whole week of no animal drama!! That has to be a record! ...
