I've been buying in dribs and drabs, so have been posting it directly in the Grocery Reduction thread. Finally bought enough (kind of) to bother posting it in my blog:
yogurt (10 containers on sale @ .60/each, with coupon for .40 off of six) $5.60
soymilk (3 gallons on sale @ $5.98/each, with coupons for $1.25/gallon off) $14.19
cherries (10.13 lbs on sale @ $1.99/lb) $20.16
spring mix (2 containers, one on sale) $7.57
grapes (4.79 lbs @ $2.49/lb) $11.93
Not much to report this week. It has been uneventful, which is sometimes a good thing!
The population of the ranch has temporarily increased by two, as I am pet-sitting this week and next. My co-worker's two little Chow Chows are hanging out until next Saturday. They are blind, but they've been on my property enough that they are very comfortable moving around it. They also use my two dogs to help them, when they get a little confused. Forgot to post yesterday, and it was such a crazy day, I don't really remember what all I did. I did NOT exercise - bad, bad, bad.
Today, however, I finally got out for another 4-mile walk. Also did my push-ups and sit-ups!
Water. Have finished 6 glasses thus far and am working on getting the last 2 glasses before bedtime.
Diet. Two cups of coffee. Half of a pb cookie (shared with the birds). One small Gatorade. Two small deli-style sandwiches
Water. Again, didn't keep a good record. At least six glasses.
Diet. Two cups of coffee; a pluot; a portabella mushroom sandwich with a handful of fries and two small slices of baguette (while waiting for lunch); two cookies (yes, I know); a bowl of baked veggies with a sprinkle of cheese on top. A couple of swigs of soy milk.
Exercise. Sit-ups. Didn't get any aerobics in. So lazy today.
I'm going with a C-. Didn't do horrible in any of the categories,

And just like that, half the year is gone.
This week has been monopolized by the goat pen project. I am having a new pen put in, and it is taking longer than I had hoped. I know it is necessary, and I'm looking forward to the finished product, but it really annoys me to have to share my personal time, and every morning, I've got the fencing guys rolling in at 7:30a and disrupting my peace. I am very ready for them to be done, but they will be out here at least another week.
