    Water. Nine glasses.

Exercise. 23 minutes on the treadmill while POURING sweat - still 90F+!! I took a shower just beforehand, and changed into a clean t-shirt, and I had to change again afterward, because I felt like I had jumped into a very warm and salty pool of water!

Diet. About 1.5 cups of coffee (didn't finish the second); a pluot; a small Gatorade; a small deli-style sandwich; approx. 1.5 cups of toasted soybeans.

    Giving myself a B+ again. ...

Water. Not so great. About 3 glasses. I was running around a lot, and just never really stopped to hydrate.

Food. Two cups of coffee. Half an apple. A small HM deli-style sandwich. A bowl of yogurt with granola topping.

Exercise. 20 minutes on the treadmill. Push-ups.

Overall, B-. I lose points for not drinking enough water. Otherwise, I did okay today.

Water. Didn't really keep track, but I'm pretty sure I drank well over 8 glasses. It was 96F today, and I was on the road all day, and I kept chugging the H2O!

Exercise. 25 minutes on the treadmill this morning. A 4-mile walk (too hot to run) this afternoon. Push-ups.

Diet. Two cups of coffee w/cream and sugar and a Fiber One bar for breakfast. A vegan burger with about 5 fries (and water!!) for lunch. A big bowl of yogurt with granola topping for dinner. ...

    by , 06-29-2009 at 02:14 AM
The week ends, and with it ends my vacation time. The summer of Mad Hen closes, and tomorrow, it is back to the grindstone.

When I decided to take a week off, I had grand intentions of doing all the things I've been putting off, getting things organized and cleaned up, and basically getting my personal life in order.

Of course, none of that happened.

Instead, I spent the week recharging my batteries and doing the things I love to do. I knitted, ...
