Okay, this stupid virus/pneumonia crap is getting old. I managed to get to work, get the bunny back to the vet, and get some books to the library, and then I came home and found that one of the chicks was not feeling well. I got her set up in a separate brooder and gave her some baytril, and then I basically just crashed. I have another doctor's appointment tomorrow to see if they can figure out why this stupid pneumonia isn't going away. It has been over a month now, and I'm ready for something

Another rough day, because I was on the road from 7a until about 5p. I had to get out early, so I totally forgot about breakfast in the rush and just had my coffee. By lunch, I was famished. My sister recommended a burger place, so I went there and had half of a mushroom burger and about half of the fries. Two diet Pepsi's. Ran around all day, hacking and feeling like crap (still not over the pneumonia, apparently), and on the way home, stopped at a Starbuck's and ordered a small white mocha,
Aiee...today was a fat hen day. I was all over the place. I think the unexpected arrival of my order of chicks, along with the stress of having to put drops in Colton's ear twice daily (which he HATES), and trying to get back to the work grind, just took its toll. I stumbled big-time.
Let's see...first, I'll admit to ZERO exercise today. I didn't do a dag-blamed thing.
I only had 6 cups of water, because I remembered suddenly, at 8pm, that I hadn't had any water
It is funny. I think of a week as a very short period of time, but when I look at the dates above, I realize that each day was full of events, good and bad; that some days were a struggle to get through, and some flew by; and that a week can be a very long time, if you stop and appreciate each day as it passes.
This week felt like a full one, although in reality, it probably wasn't any more busy than most. Most of the week was typical February weather: rain, rain, rain. The good
Rainy, nasty day today. It is always hard to feel motivated to do the right thing when it is grey and wet outside. That cold, miserable weather just seems to soak into my bones.
I had to drive out to pick up some chicken feed today, so I was out of the house about two hours. The rest of the day was spent knitting, cooking, and playing with animals!
Food-wise, it was a difficult day to track. I think I have it all covered, but today was a nibble here, nibble there,
