    I went to the doctor today, after WEEKS of feeling like crap, and it turns out that I have walking pneumonia!! Not only that, but the doctor, who deemed me "unlucky," says I also have a virus that is causing an inner ear imbalance (explaining the vertigo issues I've been having). So I am on antibiotics for the pneumonia, cough syrup to help me sleep, and meclizine for the vertigo. Lucky me.

    Wow, work really plays havoc with my weight loss attempts! I do much worse on work days than on non-work days or on days when I can stay at home!

    The good news is that I got my hour on the treadmill this morning. That is about the only positive part of the day!

    I totally forgot about my water intake until I got home, and then I didn't have enough bottled water for both me and the birds, so the birds won the coin toss, and I didn't want to drink tap/well water. I ...

    Hoo Yah!! Another hour on the treadmill this morning! I am going to kick my fat butt in the fat butt this week!

    Breakfast was oatmeal with rice milk and Splenda (and just a dash of pumpkin pie spice). One cup of coffee.

    Lunch was a dish of risotto gnocchi and spinach in tomato sauce. I did also have a cup of coffee after lunch, but since I usually have two at breakfast, I think I broke even there. And I walked about four blocks to the restaurant (and four back). ...

    Did great in some areas today and not so great in others.

    First, I had a soymilk/banana smoothie for breakfast, after doing an hour on the treadmill. (Third day in a row of one hour on the treadmill!!) I also drank four glasses of water before leaving for work.

    Once I got to work, things slipped a bit. I was stressed out because I was trying to get ready for a meeting, but the our office got an assignment that had to be done by the end of the day, and my supervisor ...
