Since there was a little money left in the budget(and still is) for this month. I did some stockpile building.

I went back to Sobeys, and found more cereal coupons. Picked up the 12-packs of soups and went on to Wal-mart.

I picked up 4 boxes of mini-wheats, regular $5.97 for $2. I picked up 2 bottles of shampoo, regular $7.99 for $0. They were clearing them due to new labels in the new shipment, and I had $2 off coupons, so got them for free! I wish I had more coupons for the shampoo.

Then I went to Costco, picked up 2lbs cheese, and 40 juice boxes total : 25.78 paid: 13.43.

So pretty good.

Dh called today from work, there's lots of doom and gloom talk at work. No talk of layoffs, they are waiting for agriculture to start to keep them busy. As construction and infrastructure has slowed way down. It makes me very nervous. But company policy says management is last to go, and he is part of the management so we should be ok for some time. The company as a whole did 700 layoffs this month, but most were overseas and one plant in the US. Hopefully there's enough turn around with all the planned infrastructure to keep us going.

Thanks, I don't think there's any thing in the near future, we know that the plant isn't closing as they are currently the most profitable plant in the global scope of the company. But nothing is guaranteed.
