is ROUND. I figure it's truly time to do something.
I've gotten to the point I'm making fat jokes about myself. So I think my self esteem needs a boost.
I've also come to realize, feeding a man with a furiously high metabolism and 4 growing kids, is really really hard to lose weight.
I think that the only thing I can do is really, cook myself a separate meal until I hit my goal, and then try to find a balance between the family meal and what I need.
DS15 has grown 5 inches in the last year and gained about 15 lbs, dd12 has grown about 6 inches in the last 6 months and about 20 lbs. So I can't not give them the calories and foods they need. DH is 6'2" and 185 lbs, he's lean. Me... well I'm small... and round..lol.
So I have the family menu set, and I have mine nearly done planning. A sensible balanced diet - lower calorie for the round girl.
With me consistently adding 1 or 2 lbs a month, i'm about 10 lbs off of being categorized as OBESE! I don't want to be there. That is scary and the health repercussions aren't good.
SOOO.... time to crack the whip and take care of business.
I am weighing myself in the morning, measuring waist, hips bicep, thigh and calves. And getting moving now and eating better. I have my multivitamins ready and loaded to go.
Goal: 30-40 lbs, where ever I even out. I'd like to have it done in time for dh Christmas party in November. That means an average loss of 8-10 lbs a month, well even a little less as the party is end of November. Sensible, do-able. And I want to buy a nice dress where I don't look dowdy and heavy.
Time to shed the fat-girl suit. I've been pussy-footing around this long enough. Time to hit this goal hard!
