Made a nice snowball payment today!

I just transferred $1000 to the current Bill-du-jour. that card hasn't been under $4000 in over 5 years! Now after Monday it'll be under $3000! I have two more checks due to me on Monday, so the balance should be around $2700.
I had hoped to have a bigger snowball, but unbeknownst to me, the mortgage online said it was paid on Dec 26, but they didn't actually TAKE the money until the 29th, so my reconciliation of the account on the 28th was inaccurate. Dh has had a couple weeks off so we didn't have paystubs to verify it, I had just assumed it was current..lol. But that's ok, nothing is behind, we're even ahead on most things, but at minimum we're current.
SO. that changes things, but Feb 1. The current bill-du-jour is paid off!
Dh working CC(the one he uses for when short cash, I took the rest away), is at balance $0, his other card is balance $0. My Amex is balance $0. I would close these, but at the moment, I'm concerned it would reflect poorly on our credit rating when we go to renew the mortgage. I have to look into it. I know when my Visa is paid off in feb, I won't close it as it's my longest standing CC. so I want to keep that CC.
Yes, I know DR hates credit ratings but when you HAVE to have one for the mortgage, there's not much I can do but maintain a good rating.
