Disappointed in lack of 'chore' completion

Housework is slipping, some. I'm more tired than I anticipated, working the 'day camp.' We do have clean clothes, and dishes, but everything else has been let go for the moment - what a cluttered, dusty disaster! I need to do housework today!!
Also, FIL is needing DH and I regularly to help move or adjust his position (laying on bed to wheelchair to sitting up on bed to commode). MIL can't do it by herself anymore, FIL has no strength left, it seems.
We've had a steady stream of visitors, next door (at the IL's) since last weekend. I feel very bad as their (IL's) church doesn't have a pastor right now - I think MIL is floundering in her faith, and it's hard to watch.
DH broke down in the kitchen the other day - so I bawled my eyes out as well. I know it's a healthy, natural thing to do, but my husband is always the stalwart one, totally in confident control of any situation.
