  2. It has been an ok day

    I have read over a hundred pages of the complete tightwad gazette so far. Some of the stuff is geared towards the US so it wasn't relevant to me, but I am learning a few things in the book.

    I got some great deals for Christmas 2010 and am ahead of the game for where I need to be right now with that. I am very thankful.

    I paid down some debt, not a big amount, but better then nothing. I plan to pay down more on Friday.

    Well good thing that I spent .00 last week as I made up for it this week.
    This week I spent $62.33 and used $47.28 in coupons.

    This is what I got this week

    2 johnsonville sausages $1.49 after coupon
    1 theraflu $5 used a $2 coupon
    1 triaminic $5 used a $2 coupon recieved a $5 RR for buying the 2

    3 velveeta cups .10 each after coupons ...

  5. A week on the ranch (Feb 1 - Feb 14, 2010)

    Weird. I missed a week and didn't realize it. I thought I was caught up. Sorry about that, if anyone was wondering!

    February has, thus far, been a month of ups and downs. Animal-wise, Chewy is still recovering from his ACL injury (sustained in late January), and I've rigged up a very Rube Goldbergian/ghetto/white trash enclosure for him, so he can participate in his favourite activity (sitting in a sunny spot and watching the world) in the morning but not wander off too far. ...
