  1. Cutting back

by , 02-25-2009 at 01:46 PM (Travelling on the frugal path to Freedom)
So we've been doing several frugal things, watching what we're spending.

And I'm sure we could cut out alot of things yet. Some we choose to keep such as internet, cell phones($20/mo).

But I'm doing it a little different as of today.

Yesterday I did an energy audit, and in inputting 12 month of bills, I noticed we did awesome in terms of our gas bill. Last year we were using between 6 and 7 KJ. This year 1.9. That's a huge cut. Been diligent on keeping fire ...

Another rough day, because I was on the road from 7a until about 5p. I had to get out early, so I totally forgot about breakfast in the rush and just had my coffee. By lunch, I was famished. My sister recommended a burger place, so I went there and had half of a mushroom burger and about half of the fries. Two diet Pepsi's. Ran around all day, hacking and feeling like crap (still not over the pneumonia, apparently), and on the way home, stopped at a Starbuck's and ordered a small white mocha, ...

Drunk TinyDancer + no dinner = impromptu stop at the grocery store for chips and guacamole

Bad TinyDancer! Spending money and eating crap.
