My grocery challenge for the month is $400.
I had spent about $300, need to calculate the receipts. I went to Wal-Mart, they had 2 kg Kraft peanut butter on sale for $3 less than usual, so I picked up 3, unfortunately, I didn't have a coupon. I also picked up 4 boxes of Fruit Loops for $.47 a box. Not the large boxes, but still a good deal. As a rule I don't buy the sugary cereals, however, I do get them for camping season. So I put them aside, dh asked if I could get more, and we'll
DH wound up putting in 20 hours of overtime last week. We handled it, with one big but. Or perhaps I mean big BUTT.
I completely failed to exercise or eat properly. I maintained the house, I cooked healthful meals that would hold and could be warmed up when he got home. He was able to attend FROG and Princess with the girls. But in my normal pattern, something had to give and it was the exercise and no-seconds-or-snacks rule.
I did make it to my meeting Monday,
Totally unexpected development on the business front today. I have seen a little craft store on my way to/from work every day for almost a year now. I have never stopped in. Today, I wasn't in a hurry, and I thought, hey, what the heck. I'll give it a once-over. I am not typically the kind who stops at craft stores (although I'll slam on the brakes and cause a nine-car pile-up at the whiff of a bead or yarn store), so I'm still not really sure what got into my head. Anyhoo, I stopped in.
Having completely lost my voice now to this stupid cold, and being congested, I am not feeling very attractive right now. When I'm not hacking, I'm wheezing.
Today was my first day back at work and, in keeping with my tradition of having a very hard time readjusting, I totally forgot to drink water today. Totally. Not one glass. I had several cups of coffee, trying to make my throat feel better, which probably dehydrated me even more. Oh well...
No exercise today.

I know that some of you will deffinately not agree with this. :hide:
But I am contemplating going bankrupt on my student loans, I owe around 30000 dollars. My hubby owes about the same, We have a mortgage, we have a car payment, we are getting caught up with other bills, but there is no way we can pay 60000 dollars towards student loans.
I am contemplating going bankrupt on my 30000dollars. Then we will pay off DH's student loans, as quickly as we possibly can.
