Conventional wisdom has long held that the best deals come close to the holidays. Another bit of conventional wisdom is that the best time to buy is when the economy is in recession and retailers need the money. These age old rules of shopping may not be as rigid as they once were. They still hold true, but perhaps not for as long as they once did. Here are two reasons why now is the best time to shop in perhaps the last 5 years, and why your window of opportunity may be slimmer than years before. ...

  4. bathroom remodeling underway

    by , 12-20-2008 at 04:57 AM
This week we are in the process of remodeling a bathroom. It has been raining on and off so it has delayed the tile cutters. They are even working on Saturday, probably because they lost 2 days of work due to the rain this week, and no work no pay. At work we had one of the girls lost a relative and they had a collection and then at the second job another girl also lost a relative so I was down about $30. right away and then I bought food for the party.
