I thought I'd add another Blog entry, since I'm here.
I'm on vacation this week. My original plans were to go on a wine tour in the fingerlakes area of New York. However, that got the kibosh because my 12.5 yo dog Battle had laryngeal tie back surgery and is home recovering.
So, I am spending time decluttering and organizing. Which needs to be done. I think I am going to take the time this week and reset our budget and check stuff out, see if it needs tweaking.
O.k. We moved in to the new townhome last week and I am going to sit down tonight and come up with a budget.

I got it on sale for .49/skein at the time. The fleece was bought in the remnant bin at Jo-Ann's for less than $1 ( got 2 blankets from it, one for a boy and this one). . . the bib is from some cone cotton yarn, that I'm using to make dish cloths for Christmas
Not much planned here today. . . . basically just trying to stay cool. We have actual temps in the mid 90's with humidity in the 80%'s . . . makes it feel like it's 110 or higher.
There is a severe thunderstorm watch for today. . . hope it will at least cool things off.
Marty is at camp -- he called early this morning to check on me. Apparently, all the fans running at camp, blew the circuits - so no power after 11:00 PM. They sweltered.
I'm going to
