Yesterday after the kids went to school I went out and did the morning chores, cattle...done...rabbits watering....done...now onto the rabbit feeding....All the chickens, geese and ducks roam free, but with the cold stay in this old building we have, the rabbits are caged up in there now for winter....the cats pretty much stay in there too...so after I water the rabbits I noticed the mama cat gone with her 4 babies....I carefuly look around and yup she moved them. Then I notice some hay sticking out of the hog feeder (no hogs right now...March) I didn't put it there, chickens, geese and ducks wouldn't do it...So I am thinking skunk?? no..Rat family?...maybe. So I climb over the fence to check it out, find a scraper and carefuly lift one of the lids..just hay..lid 2..just hay..lid 3..just hay..lid 4..out pops the head of a very large possum! I drop the lid and hurried over the fence...dang those things are ugly. I don't like surprises like that!! DD boyfriend is to take care of it some time for me...I guess thats why not many eggs.

Finished Christmas shopping today too.

Up to 91 Christmas cards YEAH!!

Wow, No wonder he was big. I would worry the possum would have bothered the chickens.
