This is the record of my journey toward a more realistic and healthier lifestyle.
So in an effort to be more frugal, I gave up grinding my own coffee beans. I now buy coffee in the big silver can with the name of the store's brand and the words "Ground Coffee" on it. (Those who are perhaps stronger than I will say that it would've been better still to give it up altogether, but it could be argued that divorce court is more expensive than cheap coffee.)

DH got a promotion, which requires that we attend the annual December company 'do'. Fully aware of the great good fortune that results in this circumstance, I find myself with nothing to wear. I'm a full time at home wife and mother. We're in debt up to our eyeballs and are making serious lifestyle changes.
At the very least I need pants, shoes and some knee-highs or hose. I have extremely difficult-to-fit feet. I'm fat. I'm shy. Not just bashful, nervous around strangers shy.
