    Default Paula deen's blueberry muffins

    Paula deen's blueberry muffins

    Recipe Description
One of the better blueberry muffins I've had in a long time.

I used about a cup of frozen blueberries that I have thawed and drained.
    Preparation Steps:Level of Difficulty:
    Easy
    Time Needed:
About 35 min. (includes baking time)
    Ingredients:
    2 cups all purpose flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 cup sugar
1 stick butter or margarine, melted and cooled
    3/4 cup milk
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/2 cup fresh blueberries

White or brown sugar for muffin tops
    Serves:
    Makes 12
    Directions:
Combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar and baking powder; set aside.
Combine melted butter, milk and egg. Add to flour mixture till just combined...do not overstir. Fold in blueberries. Scoop into prepared (paper lined or sprayed) muffin pan. Bake at 350F for 10 minutes. Sprinkle tops of muffins with brown or white sugar. Bake another 10-15 minutes or till done. Remove from pan. Yummmmy
